Herbal Coffee With Ginseng, Maca, Ginger and Cinnamon

Several of the shop's instant coffees go beyond coffee alone and add roots and spices such as ginseng, maca, ginger and cinnamon. This page puts six of them side by side so you can see how they differ.

What these coffees have in common

They are instant: you empty a sachet into a cup, add hot water and stir. Most pair the coffee with a handful of botanicals rather than a single extract. The product pages list the ingredients plainly, so you can tell a ginger-and-cinnamon blend from a ginseng-and-moringa one at a glance.

Maca appears under the name lepidium on some pages, which is the Latin genus name; one page spells it out as maca root.

Which one suits you

If you want a spiced cup

Iron Coffee and Foxf6 Filter Coffee both lean on ginger and cinnamon with ginseng and ginkgo biloba. Foxf6 is the one that asks you to let the cup rest for five minutes before drinking, and its 3 g sachets are smaller than the 5 g sachets used by some other coffees in the shop.

If you want a longer botanical list

Nesliva Detox Coffee adds guarana, mate, chicory and hibiscus to the ginseng and maca. ZeroTermo Detox Coffee names fifteen ingredients, including avocado leaf and moringa.

If you do not want ginger or cinnamon

Wiltlife Coffee takes another route. Its list is short and has no spices: blue dandelion, ginseng, moringa, and valerian with passiflora, next to the instant coffee. Its box holds 60 sachets and is described as a one-month supply.

Preparing the cup

The pages agree on the basics. Empty the sachet into a cup, pour hot water, stir. Several give a water amount of 200 to 250 ml. Where a page allows milk, it says so, and where it does not, stay with water. Timing differs: most coffees say 30 minutes before a meal, and a few say 30 to 60 minutes before breakfast.
