What is Diox Cap Detox?

Diox Cap Detox is the capsule version of the Diox range from Turkey. One box contains 30 capsules, enough for 30 days at one capsule a day. It is taken with a large glass of water, about an hour before or after breakfast.

The formula is different from Diox Tea Detox. It combines L-carnitine and maca with warming spices such as ginger, cardamom, galangal, cinnamon and clove, traditional after-meal herbs, garcinia and cascara sagrada bark, a herb known for its laxative effect.

Ingredients and what they are

• Cascara sagrada bark – a traditional herb used for its laxative effect.
• L-carnitine – a compound the body also makes, involved in how cells use fatty acids for energy.
• Garcinia – the fruit rind of a tropical tree, common in supplements.
• Lepidium (maca root) – a root vegetable from the Andes.
• Ginger and galangal – warming roots from the ginger family.
• Cardamom, cinnamon and cloves – classic culinary spices.
• Fennel and dill seed – traditional after-meal herbs.

Important: Diox Cap Detox contains a laxative herb

Cascara sagrada bark contains natural compounds that stimulate the bowel, so some people notice looser stools or more frequent bowel movements. In European herbal practice, herbs of this type are recommended for short-term use only.

• Take no more than one capsule a day.
• Stop if you get cramps, diarrhoea or dizziness, and drink plenty of water.
• Do not use it continuously for long periods; take a break after a box.
• Laxative herbs can reduce how well some medicines are absorbed. If you take any medication, including the contraceptive pill, ask your doctor or pharmacist first.
• Do not use it if you have a bowel condition or unexplained abdominal pain.

How to use Diox Cap Detox

• Take one capsule a day, about 1 hour before or 1 hour after breakfast.
• Swallow it with a large glass of water.
• Drink enough water through the day, around 2 litres for most adults.
